Roger Moore
Several years ago, my mother and I took a bus trip with a group from Waterbury to NYC. The Waldorf Astoria was the primary destination, with a tour included. The group was comprised mostly of elderly women.
After a tour of a penthouse, around eight of us squeezed into a very small elevator. I was right up against the elevator door. So we go down a few floors and stop. The door opens and maybe two feet in front of me is Roger Moore and his wife. The look on his face was one of complete bewilderment. He allowed the doors to close and stayed behind.
Immediately after, the women from the tour let out a scream in unison. No doubt, Mr. Moore upon hearing that, considered himself lucky he chose not to take the ride down with us!!! His loss!
