Ruth Buzzi
My partner & I were in Los Angeles for business/vacation two years ago. We flew in out of the Burbank airport. We are from laid back Oklahoma, so the rat race was craziness.
When we were flying back, we had gone through security and were sitting down putting our shoes back on. I was bent over tying my shoes and glanced up as this pleasant looking lady was passing by smiling at me.
I asked, “Are you Ruth Buzzi?” She said, “Why yes I am.” My partner asked, “What did you say?” I told him and he thought I meant Lily Tomlin.
We found her in the gift shop and again she smiled at us. I asked her if we could have her autograph. She said don’t you have a camera, it would last longer! We each took our picture with her and she was so lovely.
I asked her if she was glad to be recognized. She said it was nice for someone not to think she was Lily Tomlin!!!! She was catching a flight to film some role for an upcoming horror movie!
